Turbine Potsdam is one of the most success clubs in German women football the last decades: Winner of Champions League in 2005 and 2010; six time German champions and 3 times Cup-winners. Now Turbine sends three girls teams for this summer’s Cup No 1 – and no doubt that the German girls will contribute to the completion in the girls classes!
“We ae proud that one of the leading European clubs on the female side has chosen to come to Frederikshavn. Turbine Potsdam is looking forward to the many international matches at Cup No 1, and this was the main reason for the sign-up,” tells Henrik Andersen, sales manager at Cup No 1.
Turbine has developed several top-plays at their academy such as the goalkeeper Nadine Angerer, who was FIFA Player of the year in 2013 and Nadine Kessler, FIFA player of the year in 2014. Svenja Huth og Tabea Kemme where both part of the German team, who won the Olympic gold medals last year in Brazil.
